Off the Shoulder Romper

20.9.16

wearing: SHEIN romper | LACK OF COLOR hat | POMELO gold choker | CHLOE bag | ASOS heels | QUAY sunglasses

What better way to celebrate the warmer weather by baring a little skin through showing off your neckline and shoulders. The Spring trend "off-the-shoulders" continues to evolve to take different forms of silhouettes, whether it's voluminous ruffled-sleeves top, shoulder-straps dress or a simple straight-across romper.

To me, a romper is similar to a dress in that they are both one-pieces which eliminate the fuss of coordinating a whole outfit. But, rompers come in handy when the weather is windy, you can comfortably wear an outfit without having to worry about Melbourne's unexpected strong breezes. This striped romper from Shein instantly became a weekend staple for its casual pattern that resembles denim and loose fit so you can squeeze in that extra cake after brunch. I love the white tassel that can cinch the waist to avoid losing shape. To complete the Spring/Summer look, I wore a pair of strapped sandals and not forgetting to be sun smart with a straw hat!
