2 Different Ways to Wear Lace Up Sweater

11.7.16

With Melbourne temperatures dropping and staying in the low teens, sweaters has been my "go-to" tops for obvious reasons, warmth and comfort. Thanks to the 70s style strong comeback, we have seen countless lace up details popping in all sorts of clothing items since Spring 2015; including staple T-shirts, shorts, shift dresses and many more. Despite its size, this tiny embellishments pack a major punch, adding a simple yet retro style to your outfit.

This past Saturday was a slightly more adventurous day filled with considerable amount of time driving and exploring. So it was an obvious choice to wear something extra comfortable, hence I chose this pair of stretchy skinny jeans with an oversized ribbed sweater from Shein
Skinny jeans is the easiest way to style literally any top that exist, 100% full proof guaranteed. Especially when it comes to wearing an oversized fit top, they help to keep your shape. I specifically chose my ripped denim ones to add texture and extra details to an otherwise boring outfit.

Shein provides a range of fashionable yet affordable pieces with great quality. The best thing about it is that Shein is offering free shipping, only lasts until the 12th of July. So hurry in and click away!

Due to its oversized fit, the sweater can be worn as a semi-dress, but along with a high risk of exposing your derrière. Therefore I layered with a pair of ripped denim shorts with fringes peeking through the bottom. This whole look would be casual but then I added a pair of over-the-knee boots, which I have been wearing religiously this winter, to add coverage and drama to my ensemble.
