The Hermitage

wearing: FOREVER NEW sequins top | BOSSINI (vintage) white pants | VALENTINO studded kitten heels

Spending an ordinary day with my good friend, Jessica, always turn into a glamorous adventure regardless weather condition or where we are in the world. We both love photography, dressing up and being surrounded by anything with visually appealing aesthetics. That day we went to visit the Hermitage Hotel in Menteng, Jakarta, was a combination of everything we adore. This Art Deco building is filled with photogenic corners that emit both modern and nostalgic feel simultaneously. We started with with our chitchats and lunch at L'Avenue, then ventured around the hotel. Our favourite places would have to be the staircase with a majestic chandelier as well as Hermitage's rooftop pool with gorgeous vines hanging from above.

Feeling inspired by the colour and architecture of the hotel, I felt that it was appropriate to scheme my outfits accordingly and hence the Palazzo pants (a.k.a. wide leg trousers) and sequins top. Trousers are one of my favourite things to wear, especially wide-legged ones, due to its comfort and relaxed fit. However at the same time, they can elevate an outfit to looking elegant and polished while elongating the legs. Skinny pants will probably never go out of style, but wide-leg pants are another classic that every girl needs to invest in.
