Fashion trends continue to change rapidly and it seems like we always find inspirations from previous decades' silhouettes. And as for the moment, the most coveted trend would probably be the 70s. Fringe, suede, flare, paisley, earthy tones, you name it. Everything related to this era is revived and seems like it's planning to stay for a while as it is suitable all seasons.

Nothing screams 70s louder than the combination of suede and brown, as seen on this outfit. There is a bunch of different versions of this skirt, in different colours, materials, lengths, but it is no doubt that these A-Line buttoned skirts are creeping in and taking the spotlight, as seen on (still) it-girl Alexa Chung and pretty much all over Choies (here, here and here). I wanted to enhance the retro in this outfit so I accompanied the skirt with fellow 70s flare lace up top, that feels so light and comfortable, perfect for Melbourne's Spring weather!
