Flatlay I

Although flatlays are aesthetically pleasing, they take ages to organise. However, I'm a sucker for anything pretty, so I don't mind the work as long as I get something beautiful and worth posting for the blog or instagram.
Although I have been following Beginning Boutique's Facebook page for a long time, it's only recently that I started buying from them. I find some items are quite expensive, but when the items they have are so pretty and not available elsewhere... it's hard to resist. However, if you are lucky, you can get occasional bargains such as his dress. This was originally $80+ and reduced to $40. Now you understand why I couldn't resist right? I thought the dress was already stunning by itself: the asymmetrical hem, the collar details and the crackle print... So I paired it with these black minimalist heels and a black clutch.
I'm no beauty expert but I feel like I have to give this product a shoutout since I have fallen in love with it. The Batiste dry shampoo has made it into my favourite beauty products, especially the cherry one. I simply hate flat hair; and since my hair is quite long, it gets heavy and the top of my head becomes flat. So dry shampoo really helps to elevate the roots of my hair without making it coarse and tangled, unlike Osis+ Dust It.

I'm planning to do more flatlay posts instead of the usual outfit posts, what do you guys think?

xoxo, ET
