Recently I went to Mornington with some friends to visit Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm and their beach. The weather was beautiful, perfect for an outing like this. If you ever want to go strawberry picking, I wouldn't suggest to actually pick your strawberries because it's pretty hard to find decent ones, they taste average and they go off really quickly. Go to their shop, and buy giant strawberries instead because they are absolutely divine. It's $40 for 35 strawberries, but they are like size XXXL and super delicious.
wearing: VINTAGE denim jacket | MISS SHOP dress | handmade bracelet & necklace | PRADA bag | ALI EXPRESS shoes & sunglasses
Feeling girly and summery, I decided to wear one of Miss Shop's best selling dress. It has a such a basic design yet I was so attracted to it as soon as we met. Perhaps it's due to the amazing vibrant colour; perhaps it's due to the girly and flirty silhouette; perhaps it's due to how versatile the dress is... perhaps... perhaps... perhaps (yes I am singing to that song by Doris Day when I wrote this).
Here I wanted to show off the dress by itself, so I just threw on a denim jacket, just in case they day gets slightly cold. Wearing this white sandals seems like the perfect fit for the outfit, but strawberry picking wise... definite no no. They got really dirty by the end of the day because the strawberry farm was slightly muddy. One of the things i love from these sandals is that they give you additional height without hurting your feet. They're quite flat, but still has enough elevation to keep your legs elongated. Both the dress and sandals are such summer wardrobe staples.
I have finally touched down in my hometown! I visited Singapore for a few days for Zouk Out and some shopping, and now I'm in Jakarta. It feels good to be back home.
